For those times you’ve got an amazon order arriving, Yahoo Mail will seed a little banner at the top of your inbox with a link to tracking info and the original email for your order.
Events are similarly populated, with event details and a link to get directions. Yahoo is naming Eventbrite, Ticketmaster and Fandango as partners, but say its new feature will also work with other services.
The notifications are rolling out to those in the US over the next few days.
