ENERGY 1002

You know what? I really don’t know if to keep writing this…
Had to search high and low on the net to see what is thought of as a right definition. Just the other time, dealing with inefficiencies in power and energy management was the focus. The idea of fully understanding the concept of energy in itself led to this. What is energy? How come it has to be managed? What does inefficiency in its use mean? What are the consequences of mismanagement or inefficient management? It’s still the same story we’re saying. What is energy?

‘Facial Oils and Foundations’, a Combination I Won’t Try and Reasons Why

Facial Oils are becoming increasingly popular in the beauty world. You can find celebrities, beauty gurus, favorite bloggers and vloggers talking about how they’re a must-have beauty item. Using oils to create a flawless and smooth foundation look is the newest beauty fad; however, it is one of the beauty trends I will not try.

Many beauty gurus rave about the importance of the oils and how they can transform your makeup routine and create a flawless foundation coverage; however, that isn’t the case for everyone.

He tweeted several things to the ladies and ended his series of tweets with “RIP Feminism”.

ENERGY 1001

Many developing countries are consistently ridiculed by the inefficiencies and disabilities proved in the area of power and energy management. Infrasctructural equipment of the society is sometimes the least of the worries. Human capacity development and wealth creation seems mostly the focus in a situation where poverty below certain dollars per person per day is clearly defined and exampled. The school of thought that priotises the mind enablement is usually true to its education support system. But oops, when education is defined by the beautiful paper you get when done, rather than the experience and learning that outcomes, you sure bet this line of consideration is simply getting nowhere with no action in place. Drop the Weight With EJ: Should You Wait Till You’re Done Breastfeeding to Lose Weight?

Not long before I had my son, I took some time to have conversations with eleven new moms who had dealt with something that I was about to face myself – losing the baby weight. I asked them questions on how they managed their new reality of having no time AND how they dealt with the potential of losing themselves in being Moms.

I did the research to be able to help these amazing women better in my coaching practice, but also to help myself. You see, I was weeks away from meeting my son and I had already surpassed the maximum recommended weight gain level of 15 kg for pregnancy. I intended to keep working full time and running my Coaching business on the side and I didn’t want to sacrifice the joy that I had come to cherish in my marriage and of course I didn’t want to lose myself.

Hossam Ghaly of Egypt (left) challenging Asamoah Gyan of Ghana

Egypt are likely to ring at least two changes to their starting XI in a rematch of last week’s AFCON showdown against Nigeria today in Alexandria with coach Hector Cuper promising an all-out attack.

The Pharaohs were too cautious in Kaduna, but with 40,000 fans cheering them on inside the Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria tonight, they will go for goals against the Super Eagles.

Eagles fail to train in Egypt after very long Monday

Super Eagles did not train at the Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria Monday night because they complained of tiredness after a six-hour flight from Abuja.

The Eagles had to endure a two-hour delay at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Abuja due to late approval for the chartered flight to fly over Sudan to Egypt.

And that was after a two-hour bus ride from Kaduna to Abuja, also on Monday.

Fuel Scarcity: Senate Summons Kachikwu

The Senate on Monday summoned the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, to appear before its Committee on Petroleum Downstream on Tuesday, over lingering fuel scarcity in the country.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream, Sen. Jibrin Barau, told newsmen shortly after an on-the-spot assessment of filling stations in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) that the summon became necessary following the hardship on Nigerians.

He decried that in spite of assurances from the ministry that the situation would be brought under control, it had lingered. He said:

The Working Woman & the 21st Century Nigerian Man’s Expectations of Her

Oluwabunmi Oke
One day during one of our psychiatry lectures while still in medical school, the topic of gender roles was discussed; I turned to a male friend and classmate and I jokingly said, ‘imagine both of us were married, both resident doctors in training and say you finished work early before me at around 4 and I don’t get home till like 9, you won’t mind eating Indomie abi?’
I never expected the speech he gave me afterwards.
‘Of course I would mind. We are both doctors, yes; but that does not mean I will start eating Indomie and garri because you work late’ I was like ‘huh?’
He later went to explain that he had no problems with my dreams and aspiration; but because I chose a seemly time consuming field did not mean I would not cook for him, wash his clothes, iron them, take care of the children and perform my wifely duties whenever needed.

Nigeria's Super Eagles have landed in Egypt

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have landed in Alexandria after a six-hour flight ahead of Tuesday’s AFCON rematch against Egypt.

The team’s departure from Abuja on a chartered flight was delayed by two hours as they sought clearance to fly over Sudan.

England-based goalkeeper Carl Ikeme was the only player who did not make the flight as he has returned to his club after he was ruled out of the match due to a stomach problem.

Reports have it that hundreds of the country’s supporters were denied entry visas and so could not make the trip to cheer the Eagles to victory in a must-win game.

Egypt vs Nigeria: Winners take it all

Friday’s 1-1 draw between Nigeria and Egypt and the shock withdrawal of Chad have doubled the stakes riding on Tuesday’s AFCON 2017 rematch in Alexandria.

Chad results in the qualifiers have now been nullified for Egypt to remain top of Group G with four points, still two points clear of Nigeria with Tanzania bottom on a point.

Chad’s withdrawal also means that this group can only produce one qualifier and the three teams will not be considered for the two best losers slots.

Apple Brings Back That 4-Inch Feeling

Apple on Monday announced a pair of new products in old sizes -- the 4-inch iPhone SE and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro -- banking on user preferences for the familiar form factors to lessen their hesitancy to upgrade.

Although Apple's hour-long "Loop You In" event was short on surprises, it was slimmer on filler as well. Among the notable extras, Apple announced a price cut bringing the Apple Watch to US$300, along with a selection of new bands. It also announced support for Apple TV folders and the release of iOS 9.3.

However, the major news was the unveiling of the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

The Brand New Made-in-Space Frontier

What happens when you're 220 miles above Earth on the International Space Station and you need a tool you don't have? You can print one yourself.

In 2014, American astronauts for the first time printed a tool -- a ratchet wrench -- using a design file sent from NASA on the ground to the 3D printer spinning about in space.

The feat was straight of visions of Star Trek's replicator -- and it was only the first step to much larger miracles in space. Here's what's happening now and how 3D printing is changing everything about the future of space travel.

For Those Who Want To Seize The Bae In 2016 By Frances Okoro

At the beginning of this year I asked my Father… “Lord is my love story coming alive this 2016?”As an obedient daughter I paused, and became silent in a bid to hear His familiar voice.

I was expecting to hear a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ outrightly; but in a classic God behaviour the answer He gave me was something that changed my mindset.

His answer was:
“Do you think that you are ready or there’s still a lot to be done in single hood? Could you be a helper to someone right now or are you the one who needs help? Are you stabilized enough or ready enough to serve a man in marriage?“

At first I paused… Lord why all these barrage of questions to a simple question of “is 2016 the year I would be joined in marriage or not?”
I asked a simple question so please give me a simple answer.

FEAR NOT! By Wonuola Olawale

Fear not!
What happened in Eden doesn’t have to repeat.
I am with you
The first Adam is dead
The second Adam is here
Always mediating on your behalf

Fear not!
I know the fear than you think
It’s scary when your Eden is right there, before you even do a thing
You are only asked to enjoy and multiply
Reap where you didn’t sow
And then God asks you to enter into his rest
How unimaginable!

Fear not!
How tempting to think fear is only of evil
But then severally, “fear not” is said in the presence of an angel
Good comes to the good…we’ve been told severally
But then he makes us righteous with no single effort on our part
He walks through the halves for our sake
Makes the everlasting covenant of blessing for and with us

About 20% are not going outside at all on a regular basis. U.N. guidelines mandate that prisoners receive “at least one hour of suitable exercise in the open air daily.”

“The truth is we are enclosing our children,” Mark Sears, an advocate for “wild play,” told the paper. “We are stifling their ability to be free, to be at their best as children and it is having significant impacts.”

Third Month & Counting… Still No Goal Ticked On The List?

It seems just like yesterday when the year 2016 began. Many of us started the year with set goals, plans and hopes of a better year. However, 3 months later, most of us are confronted with the harsh reality of not being able to tick even one completed task on our goal list. Worry, fear, doubt begins to set in. What are we not doing right? Are my goals realistic in the first place? Why isn’t anything working according to plan?
