Russian club coach admires power of new signing Bright Dike

The coach of Russian club Amkar Perm has said he is delighted to sign Nigeria international striker Bright Dike, saying he likes his speed and power.

The former Toronto FC striker signed a year-and-a-half deal with the team to join compatriot Fegor Ogude.

Dike has been on good form for the team in training with two goals in trial matches and the coach Haji Hajivev is delighted to sign the 29-year-old striker.

"He (Dike) has a high speed and it his main distinguishing feature. We cannot say that he is well coordinated, clever with the ball. But he has the power, the speed, the motivation, and he gives good fights," Haji Hajiyev remarked.

He has been assigned jersey number 10.

He has played for Portland Timbers, Toronto FC and San Antonio Scorpions.
