The much talked about Ovation Carol & Awards which takes place every year in Nigeria during Christmas season has been moved to Ghana. The event will be held at the State House Banquet Hall, Accra, on Saturday, December 14, 2013. As usual, this year’s edition will also feature Iconic awards, music, comedy and fashion from all over Africa. The event will be aired live on television channels in Ghana, Nigeria and Europe and will also be streamed live on the internet. According to Chief Dele Momodu; “Everyone looks forward to this monumental event in December. We are proud to host this charity event in the historic city of Accra, known for its warmth and friendliness. We are dedicating this special ceremony to the great memory of accomplished Poet, PROFESSOR KOFI AWOONOR whose life was brutally terminated by terrorists in Nairobi, Kenya.”
