Elderson joins up, Eagles train once Wednesday

                                       Elderson and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Sunday                             Monaco  left back Elderson Echiejile was the last player to join the Super Eagles in Kaduna ahead of Friday’s AFCON qualifier against Egypt.

Elderson did not train with the rest of the squad on Tuesday evening in Kaduna.

He played the full duration of a late Sunday night game against newly crowned PSG which his team Monaco won 2-0 in Paris and has now joined the Eagles.


Injured defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Leon Balogun have so far stayed away from the team.

In the meantime, the Eagles will train only once on Wednesday.

The session will begin at 4pm at the match venue, the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.
