Egypt have dropped overseas-based strikers Mahmoud ‘Trezeguet and Ahmed Hassan ‘Kouka’ for tonight’s crunch AFCON clash at home with Nigeria.
Trezeguet features for Belgian giants Anderlecht and Kouka is from Portuguese club Sporting Braga.
Home-based Ramadan Sobhi and Marwan Mohsen are for dropped strikers.
Sobhi assisted for Egypt’s equaliser by AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah in Kaduna after he came on for Trezeguet.
Otherwise, coach Hector Cuper has kept faith with the team who started in Nigeria.
