Moment of Truth

And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. Matthew 14:23 (NKJV)

If you want to move into a new territory in your life, it is imperative that you decide exactly who is at the driver’s seat: Is it going to be you, or is it going to be GOD? The answer will determine how effectively you pray. Jesus always moved under the Holy Spirit’s influence. His disciples witnessed Him healing people, casting out demons, and performing many other miracles, and they wanted to know how these things happened.

They recognized that Jesus had a source of power they didn’t have. They also saw Him frequently go to a private place to pray, and throughout His days on earth, they saw that the life and power of GOD was infused in Him. They obviously realised there was a connection between power and prayer because they didn’t ask Him to teach them how to get power but how to pray. In the place of prayer, we exchange our weakness with GOD's strength and we are better equipped to fulfill GOD's intent on earth.

Confession

I declare that I receive Grace to wait on the Lord in the place of prayer; I do not crowd prayer out of my life but I make it a priority, therefore, my strength is constantly renewed.
