Saying, Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done. And there appeared to Him an angel from heaven, strengthening Him in spirit. Luke 22:42-43 (AMP)
While we live on earth, we are bound to face situations that will drain us of our strength. Christ also had a similar experience and for Him to fulfill the expectations that His Father had for Him, He needed to be strengthened to accomplish His assignment successfully.
For every season that we face and for every new assignment that we have to accomplish, whether a physical or spiritual assignment, we need to fill up our tanks. No car can run on an empty tank. At the point where all seemed overwhelming, Jesus Christ went before the Father and His strength was renewed. Learn from His example, make it a habit to always acknowledge your helplessness before the Father and He will show up ready to get you fortified and capable.
