The aim of Michelle’s trip is to tackle the exclusion of girls in education worldwide. “We will emerge together as a group of women to tackle this exclusion,” Michelle said during a talk on the Let Girls Learn Initiative.

On Monday, they visited a leadership camp for girls in Liberia, urging the teens to keep fighting to stay in school.

“I’m just so thrilled to be here with you. I’m here to shine a big bright light on you,” Michelle told the girls.

The First Lady also visited the Moroccan city of Marrakech, where she met with King Mohammed VI‘s wife Princess Lalla Selma.
