    A football fan is facing prosecution after smuggling a seven-inch flare into a Euro 2016 fanzone - by hiding it up his bottom.

The France supporter took the extreme step to sneak the device past security checks as he entered a fanzone in Nice ahead of France's 2-0 victory over Albania on Wednesday.


The 18-year-old then burnt himself and two other supporters when he let off the smoke bomb.
