Oshoala, Oparanozie make All-Star team

  Asisat Oshoala is one of five Super Falcons players  named in the  CAF All-Star team at  the Cameroon 2016 African Women’s Cup of Nations.

Arsenal Ladies Oshoala emerged as the tournament’s highest scorer with six goals.

France-based striker  Desire Oparanozie, who scored the  goal  that helped  Nigeria to  defeat Cameroon 1-0 in  Saturday’s final, defender Osinachi Ohale, goalkeeper Alaba Jonathan and Francisca Ordega also made the list.


Oparanozie was also the match winner in the semi-final against South Africa.

Hosts  Cameroon  provided five players in the CAF  squad with the tournament’s Most Valuable Player  Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene topping the list.
