Stay off the job market, attend the National Career Fair 2014 in Lagos [DETAILS]

Imperial Integrated Project Services is pleased to announce the National Career Fair tagged: Human Capacity Building for a viable and secured nation. This program is organised in collaborations with Dragnet Solutions Limited and endorsed by Leap Africa and Poise Finishing School.

This program is designed to reduce the growing unemployment rate in Nigeria.

Nigeria with a population of over 160 million, the youths are over 60 million, of this, 53% are unemployed according to Nigeria Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The rate of unemployment in Nigeria is expected to increase further by about 2% this year -by Financial Derivative Company Limited (FDN). Over 2 million graduates join labour market yearly, only less than 8% secure jobs. Unemployment particularly among the youths is one of Nigeria’s biggest problem and there is an urgent need to address the situation. Continue..


The National Career Fair provides an annual convergence of undergraduates, graduates, entrepreneurs and job seekers on the one hand and major corporations, government agencies and small and medium scale firms on the other.

The objective is to create a platform for opportunities and needs to interact. This platform also provides the safety, skills and character requirement of the various sectors of the economy.
The National Career Fair is scheduled to hold in several major cities and states across the country.

The event will kick-off in Lagos on Tuesday May 13, 2014 at the Main Auditorium, University of Lagos, Akoka (Time: 9am prompt). In attendance would be thousands of participants comprising students, employers, employable graduates, Entrepreneurs, Captains of Industries, government officials and the general public. The previous editions had an attendance of over 3,500 and 6,000 participants respectively.

The event includes the Development dialogue session which is modeled after the Davos Round-table consisting of panel discussants talking on Governance and Leadership, Creative economy and Entrepreneurship, Tech-economy and E-commerce.
